Catch the Dream Bios

Catch the Dream Bios is a 6 x 30 minute documentary series, hosted by Adam Beach, and produced for the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN). Shannon and award-winning cinematographer, Sarah Thomas Moffat, follow Adam as he explores deeply revealing stories. Adam’s tells his own story of overcoming suffering personal abuse, and on-reserve gang-life to become a globally recognized and beloved super star. Adam’s takes us on the journeys of his friends and colleagues. He learn about one of the greatest guitar players in the world, Stevie Salas, who played with Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart and gave Foo Fighter’s drummer, Tayler Hawkins, his first break. We go on tour with Buffy Sainte Marie and her band as we follow Northern Lights of Saskatchewan night’s sky visit her original family before she was adopted. Miss Universe finalist and activist Ashley Callingbull revels how she used the pain of being sexually abused by her step dad to fuel her passion to go from from beauty queen to Harvard graduate.
